Laminating glass line is composed by:

GENERAL FEATURES:
  • Line is specifically studied to laminate tempered glass panels with customized sizes, shapes and kinds (Low-E, reflective, painted glass…) for a mixed production.
  • Line conforms to CE norms and directives, with specific protections, guards and security devices.
  • Industrial PLC, programmed with particular software, that controls the whole line, drives all movements, checks all functions, optimizes working phases and conspumptions (to guarantee energy saving) according to glass panels that are worked; self diagnosis system, that alerts if there is a trouble and shows precise position of breakage, so troubleshooting is easy and fast;
  • Main colours touch screen control panel shows all working phases; parameters filling is made quick and easy by simple windows, specifically designed; another touch screen placed inside clean room; specific panel with display and keyboard to control washer.
  • Final product tracing system to satisfy the CE marking norms for laminated glass, through specific software that controls production process, which is one of the fundamental requirements, together with the control of raw materials and testing on final products; production process control is carried out by means of temperature readings of the glass at the entrance, exit and inside each furnace, pressing force, temperature and humidity readings inside climatic chambers (data provided by clean room supplier), all these readings are stored in specific records (inside PC, provided by customer), and can be printed as per each single batch produced; further data is also collected, with regards to the characteristics of the raw material used in each particular batch, dimensions, thicknesses, types of glass and PVB, thus guaranteeing total tracing of all pieces produced.
  • Tele-assistance, through modem installed inside board panel, that links machine PLC to personal computers in our factory, in this way we can supply an immediate technical support.
  • Electrical and electronic compents are SCHNEIDER-TELEMECANIQUE.
  • PLC and other electronical equipments are placed on 2 cabinets; PLC and inverters are linked through CAN-OPEN system; interface between internal communication components (control panels and PLC) and external communication components (tele-assistance and tracing system device) is carried out through ethernet connection.
  • Low-E. (soft coated) glass treatment on top side of glass; all components that touch low-E. side (suction cups, rolls, brushes...) are made of specific materials to not scratch or ruin glass.
